We are currently looking for an experienced Customer Services Assistant/Administrator to join the team. Working alongside the Customer Service and Production Admin teams, the job will include dealing with customer enquiries and ensuring all customer orders are inputted correctly. This also includes routinely checking customers’ orders and setting up new customers onto ordering systems.

This this a full position working Monday – Friday and working on an on-call basis 1 weekend out of 5, moving to 1 in 6 as the business grows. The ideal candidate must have experience working in a customer services role, dealing with customers on the phone as well as being able to report, and include data input, into various Excel spreadsheets. Salary starts at £23K and is negotiable dependent on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Answering incoming calls
• Taking new enquiries
• Responding to any questions or queries customers have
• Routinely checking on customers including
their orders – are they going up or down
• Suggesting products they can orders to help boost their sales
• Visiting customers where necessary
• Offering POS materials
• Asking if they would like tasting days
• Pulling off sales data and analysing it on a regular basis
• Contact customers about new products and anything they might be interested in
• Arranging samples for meeting/ possible new customers/ new products
• Arranging POS materials for customers
• Setting up customers on RJL, making sure they have their account forms filled out and all departments have the relevant information for the customer coming on
• Helping the team take orders and checking new customer orders
• Attend meetings with new and existing customers
• Help with social media posting and information for the website

Key Skills Required

• Previous experience of working in sales or an administration position
• Prior experience of dealing with customers on the phone
• Previous experience of working in sales or an administration position

• Confidence in using excel spreadsheets
• Experience of using CRMs/ online ordering systems is also an advantage
• Candidates must be flexible, hard-working and possess a positive attitude to work.
